Training Day at One of Our Renovation Projects

This week brought something a little different!

Reframe’s Mark and the Minehead Firefighters put a renovation project to good use when one of our clients kindly allowed the team full access to the building for a hands‑on training session.

Empty properties like this are rare opportunities. They give firefighters a safe but realistic environment to practise search and rescue techniques, manoeuvre through tight spaces, run route‑based training, and work with their obscured masks. For Mark and the crew, it was a chance to run authentic scenarios without disruption, and for us, it was a privilege to support the work they do for our communities.

Seeing the team move through the building with purpose, checking rooms, planning routes, and coordinating as a unit, was a reminder of just how much preparation goes into keeping people safe.

Renovation projects often have their own stories, but this one now has an extra chapter, having helped train the very people who protect the homes, businesses, and families in our area.

A huge thank you to Mark and his crew for the work they do every day, and an even bigger thank you to the clients who allowed the use of their property.
